We have started a Baltic Scandinavian elite accelerator for health science startups: AcceleraceLife. We are finishing our pilot round with 5 cases and present our/their success on Sept 26 in Tallinn. We have partners from 5 countries that will find and prepare best cases. The 10 cases to the accelerator will be chosen by the expert board in December 2013. At the moment we are finalising the model of the Nordic Baltic health tech fund. It is an evegreen model combinin convertible loans with upside.

Oppifi Oy was founded in 2007. The business idea of Oppifi is to develop, promote and sell services for storing and sharing memories the life stories.

The main product of Oppifi is a “recollection and life story” service Epooq. The service assists users to recall and tell stories with the help of digital storytelling; video, voice, photo and text. Stories can be shared to the relevant social networks – communities – by your own choise.

The chain that connects generations is built from different life stories. These stories include a wealth of personal experience, insight and learning about life and living. Life experience creates the meaning for human life.

Epooq is targeted especially for the grandparent generation, which has a lot of life experience and the need to store and share that. It was chosen a winner in the 2011 World Summit Award competition.

Founded in 2000, Nexstim is a medical device company developing non-invasive, image-guided transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for brain diagnostics and therapy. Diagnostic applications have been designed for perioperative procedures of tumor and epilepsy surgery as well as stroke rehabilitation screening. Therapeutic applications include but are not limited to stroke rehabilitation and drug resistive depression treatment.

Nexstim Oy headquarters and international operations are located in Helsinki, Finland. Nexstim Inc., United States headquarters is based out of Alpharetta, GA and provides sales, service, support, and marketing for North America.

We have noticed with public organizations that there is lot of work done just collecting more and more information manually but no time to use that information as efficient as possible.

This is what we want to change! Change view from past pointing mirror to sight ahead. To give best tools to make decisions based on current facts instead of guesses and estimates based on lack of information.
